Focus Feature: More exercise linked to less-severe COVID-19 outcomes across subgroups

Kaiser Permanente members who were more physically active before being diagnosed with COVID-19 had a lower risk of severe outcomes, regardless of whether patients had chronic medical conditions, according to a new study of nearly 200,000 adults. Within each racial and ethnic group, more exercise was associated with less severe COVID-19 outcomes.
