Work with us

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in health? As a research program embedded within an integrated health care system, the Department of Research & Evaluation provides a rare career opportunity for those who want to use research to help solve real-world health care challenges.

Our research teams work closely with clinicians and operational leaders to identify clinical questions and translate findings back into practice. Senior medical group and health plan leaders actively support the research program, making this an ideal location if you are interested in translational research.

Headquartered in Pasadena, California, our department is home to more than 30 full-time scientists and supports clinician researchers across Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California region. Investigators conduct epidemiologic research, health services research and implementation science, biostatistics research, behavioral research, and clinical trials.

While most scientists and staff are based in Pasadena, we also have positions at medical centers and other locations throughout Kaiser Permanente’s Southern California region.

To learn more about career opportunities, visit the Kaiser Permanente Careers site.

Kaiser Permanente is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer and offers a comprehensive compensation package, including employer-paid medical, dental, and coverage for eligible dependents.
