Medically tailored food deliveries improve outcomes for people with type 2 diabetes

A Kaiser Permanente study found that adults with diabetes who were on Medicaid improved their blood sugar when they received healthy food deliveries at home. On average, those who received the medically tailored groceries saw their blood sugar levels drop by nearly half a point over 6 months compared to people who didn’t receive the free groceries.
