Biography
Dr. Rachid Elkoustaf is a cardiologist at the Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. He is area research chair for Riverside/Palm Springs on the Southern California Permanente Medical Group’s Regional Research Committee. He serves as director of the Graduate Medical Education Mentorship program and a physician champion for the Oral Anticoagulation Hospital Committee at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center. Dr. Ekoustaf is a voting member of the Clinical Trials Oversight Board and a member of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Elkoustaf is passionate about the study of cardiovascular diseases in women, atrial fibrillation and anticoagulation, the interplay of digital medicine and cardiac care, and the prevention of heart disease. He has presented his research at scientific meetings of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, and European Society of Cardiology.
