Biography

Dr. David Braun is an associate investigator with the Department of Research & Evaluation. He has led and collaborated in a range of neonatal-perinatal medicine quality improvement research during his 20-year tenure as the regional physician in charge for Neonatology in Kaiser Permanente Southern California, decades of partnership with Kaiser Permanente Northern California, California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative, and more recently, Vermont Oxford Network.

An abiding area of interest has been the optimization of neonatal intensive care unit admissions through multidisciplinary efforts to identify and quantify the potential and actual impact of care practice changes.
